40′hc Insulated Container, Ex-reefer

The 40’HC EX Reefer, or 12m raised, former refrigerated container, is an excellent alternative when you need a thermally insulated container. These are reefer containers, originally designed for freight transport, but with the refrigeration at the end removed and replaced by a sandwich panel. The containers are covered on all sides with strong 40–80mm urethane insulation, ensuring good thermal properties for year-round use without condensation problems. The interior surfaces of EX reefers are made of stainless steel and aluminium, thanks to which they withstand moisture and heavy use and can be easily washed with a high-pressure washer, for example. All our rental 40′ EX reefer containers are of the raised HC type, with the ceiling approx. 30cm higher than in the basic model.

The containers are by default equipped with a T-grate floor, meaning that water will not accumulate on the floor but drain out via water outlets adjacent to the doors and corners. We can also install a level floor in all containers for, e.g. trolleys. The end of the container has standard lockable double doors. We supply all our containers with light-coloured overpainting and, if you wish, you may also request an external colour of your choice. Lighting, heating, inlets and shelves are also available as extra equipment. This container is an excellent frame for a custom container!
